Karen Hawkins's second series is based on the five brothers of Sara Lawrence, the heroine of The Seduction of Sara (see Hawkins's first series). The Talisman Ring Series is based on the fact that the brothers' mother's ring is supposedly enchanted and leads the owner to his true love.
